Charminar, Laad Bazaar, Mecca Masjid, Chowmahalla Palace, Salar Jung Museum: the old city is Hyderabad's heart, and you will want whole days there. You just will not want to sleep in the middle of it.
Dash Hotels is 15 minutes away in Ramkote. Travellers from Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy and Japan have stayed with us while exploring the old city, and their reviews mention the same two things again and again: the quiet street and the clean rooms.

Charminar, Laad Bazaar, Mecca Masjid and Chowmahalla Palace are the reason most people come to Hyderabad, and they deserve whole days rather than a rushed afternoon. What you will not want is to sleep in the middle of all of it.
We are about 3.5 km away, roughly fifteen minutes by auto. That puts the old city within easy reach in the morning and leaves you on a quiet residential lane at night, which is a combination the hotels closer in cannot offer.
Salar Jung Museum first, about ten minutes from here, and give it longer than you think. It is closed on Fridays. Charminar and Laad Bazaar after lunch, when the bangle shops are properly open, and Chowmahalla Palace if you still have energy.
Come back through Koti or Sultan Bazar, both walkable from the hotel, if you want to shop without the old-city crowds. Old-city lanes are narrow, so cabs usually stop a short walk from the monument itself.
Travellers from Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Japan, Poland, Russia, Iceland and the UAE have reviewed us on Booking.com, and the reviews say the same two things again and again: the street is quiet and the rooms are clean.
An Italian guest noted hot water at any time, which he pointed out is not a given in India. A passport works as check-in ID, and the front desk is used to helping with directions, autos and the sort of practical questions a first visit throws up.
Rooms start at ₹2,500 a night. Every room has Mitsubishi central AC, Venus 24-hour hot water, Jaquar fittings and 1 Gbps WiFi.
Breakfast is South Indian, brought in from a very good restaurant nearby, which sets you up properly before a day of walking. Tell us when you want to leave and we will have it ready.

“The location is pretty convenient—close to Charminar, Makkah Masjid, Chowmahalla Palace, Salar Jung Museum, and even the quirky Sudha Car Museum… The reception is on the 2nd floor, and the staff were absolute gems—friendly, helpful, and polite. The rooms are compact but neat and functional.”
“Staff molto gentile e disponibile. Camera pulita. Acqua calda in qualsiasi momento, cosa non scontata in India. Vicina alla Central Bus Station e non troppo distante dal Charminar.”
“Very clean, amazing facilities, and located in a beautiful, quiet street near many restaurants and breakfast spots, and right across from a temple. Great value for money!”
