Walking to Koti

Koti is about a kilometre from our lane, which is a twelve-minute walk. With luggage or in the afternoon heat, an auto does it in three minutes for around ₹60 to ₹100.

That walkability is the reason people book here for Koti rather than staying further out. Sultan Bazar is roughly the same distance in the same direction, and Badi Chowdi is close by, so a day of errands in this part of the city needs no cab at all.

For hospital visits

Osmania Medical College is close, and Osmania General Hospital is about 2 km away. Families attending to a patient stay with us regularly, often for several days at a stretch.

For those stays the 2 Bedroom Suite tends to be the right room: 676 sq.ft, two bedrooms, a living room and a pantry with an induction hob and microwave, sleeping four to six. It means the family stays together and whoever comes off a night at the hospital has somewhere to sleep.

The front desk is open 24 hours, luggage storage is free, and we will be as flexible as we can on check-in and check-out timings if you tell us what is going on.

Markets, books and daily errands

Koti is wholesale markets, book shops, colleges and the sort of streets where you can buy almost anything if you know where to look. Sultan Bazar next door covers sarees, jewellery and general shopping.

Pharmacies, banks and food are all in the same radius, which matters if you are here for a longer stay rather than a night.

Rooms

Rooms start at ₹2,500 a night. The Dash King and Dash Twin are 182 sq.ft, the Prime rooms 225 sq.ft with a dressing area and work desk, and the 2 Bedroom Suite 676 sq.ft.

Every room has Mitsubishi central AC, Venus 24-hour hot water, German soundproof windows, RFID key card locks and 1 Gbps WiFi. Indoor parking if you are driving.
